Mrs. Wadley spent 19 years at Manteno High School before joining Team MMS in 2017. At MMS she will be teaching both instructional and co-taught classes. 

Mrs. Wadley brings a variety of experience to her position at MMS, having taught nearly every grade level over the course of her career. In addition to her degrees, Mrs. Wadley holds a number of certificates and endorsements in both regular education and special education areas. Most recently she obtained her Pre-Vocational Certificate and her LBS II certification from the State of Illinois as a Transition Specialist. Mrs. Wadley served as the Transition Specialist and Vocational Coordinator at MHS from 2008-2017. She is passionate about helping families and students prepare for the future. Mrs. Wadley also served as co-advisor to the Best Buddies group at MHS. 

Throughout her career Mrs. Wadley has held leadership positions in numerous professional organizations at both the state and local levels. She is currently the Team Leader for the Kankakee County NEXT STEPS Transition Training team, working to educate parents of special needs students about the transition process.

Mrs. Wadley was born and raised in Kankakee and now lives in Bourbonnais with her husband Doug, who is also a teacher. They have two grown sons, Zachary and Nathan, and a daughter-in-law Natalie who all live in Indiana. In her spare Mrs. Wadley enjoys watching sports, hanging out with her family and reading.
