Josh Carlile has been teaching 7th grade science full time in Manteno since 2004.  Carlile started working in the district as a bus driver and a substitute teacher in 2000.  Mr. Carlile currently is the head softball coach at both the middle school and high school levels.  Carlile has served since 1994 in the Army and has obtained the rank of Sergeant First Class. During his time in the military, Carlile has deployed three times, including to the middle east and to Afghanistan. Josh, currently is serving his country as an instructor with The Officer Candidate Program.   Mr. Carlile graduated from Governors State University with a degree in School Administration.  Josh also graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Masters Degree in Teaching.  Carlile obtained a bachelors degree from Illinois State University in Business Administration.  Mr. Carlile attended Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School and graduated in 1995.  Josh is married to Krista Carlile and they have three children, Reygan, Ben, and Ty.
